1. Who we are

This site (shop.yourlegacyco.com) is operated by Your Legacy University ("we", "us", "our"), founded by John Tyler, based in Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What information we collect

• Details you give us — your name, email address, business name, coaching niche, current website/hosting details, and anything else you enter in our preparation form or when contacting us.
• Purchase information — when you buy, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your purchase and your billing name/email, but we never see or store your full card details — Stripe handles that securely.
• Booking information — when you book a call, our scheduling provider (cal.com) and video provider (Zoom) collect the details needed to run the call, such as your name, email and chosen time.
• Usage and device data — like most websites, our host and analytics tools may collect your IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring source. If advertising tracking is enabled (for example the Meta Pixel), it may record your interactions with our ads and site.

3. How we use your information

• To deliver what you bought — give you access to the platform download and run your setup calls.
• To personalise the platform to your brand, using the setup details you provide.
• To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
• To process payments and keep records required for accounting and tax.
• To improve the site and, where you have consented, to measure and improve our advertising.
• To send you service messages, and — only with your consent — occasional marketing you can opt out of at any time.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

We rely on: performance of a contract (to deliver your purchase and calls); your consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies/advertising tracking); legitimate interests (to run and secure our site and understand how it is used); and legal obligation (to keep financial records).

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the business, each acting under their own privacy terms:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• cal.com and Zoom — call scheduling and video.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising and measurement, where enabled and consented.
• Our form and email providers, used to receive your enquiries and setup details.

Some of these providers are based outside the EU/EEA (for example in the United States). Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies to make the site work. With your consent, we may also use analytics and advertising cookies (such as the Meta Pixel) to understand traffic and measure our ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, our cookie banner.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, to deliver your platform and calls, and to meet legal and accounting obligations — after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email john@yourlegacyco.com and we'll look after it.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work with reputable providers (such as Stripe for payments) to keep your information safe.
